Abstract

The American Association of University of Women is an organization that has aimed towards the advancement, equity, and advocacy of women in the professional world since its inception in 1880. The Ventura County AAUW chapter was formed in 1916, followed by the Camarillo branch in 1962 and the Thousand Oaks branch in 1966. This collection contains the minutes, financial records, publications, news clippings and other ephemera from the AAUW’s Ventura County branch.

Abstract

The Saticoy Poinsettia Club was incorporated in 1899 and was originally named the Saticoy Literary and Social Club until 1902. It was formed for the purpose of promoting sociality among its members and for the betterment of their recently established community in Saticoy. This collection includes their historical documents, yearbooks, scrapbooks, minutes, financial and administrative records.
