Ventura County Cultural Heritage Board records
This collection contains records from the Ventura County Cultural Heritage Board with a focus on Ventura County landmarks. The majority of the documents are from the 1960s and 1970s with several items dating both earlier and later. A small group of photos at the end of the collection focus on Hawaii. Materials include Board documents (minutes, agenda, etc); newspaper articles; correspondence; notes and records on historical landmarks; photographs; and various pamphlets and booklets.
Ventura County Historical Records Commission records
This collection contains the records of the Ventura County Historical Records Commission. They were generated during the compilation of records later published as a retention manual for Ventura County government agencies.

This collection contains the records of Vetco Offshore Industries, formerly known as the Ventura Tool Company, founded in Ventura County in 1930 by Fritz Huntsinger Sr.
James F. Welch collection
The collection consists of four boxes of historical materials covering events in Ventura County, gathered by Mr. James F. Welch during his research from 1973 to 1979.
Boxes 1 and 2 contain materials on History of Lifesaving (local, regional and world). Boxes 3 and 4 contain materials on the History of San Buenaventura State Beach. A detailed inventory of contents appears inside each box.
Young Women's Christian Association records
This collection contains official records and ephemera from the Young Women's Christian Association, with the bulk covering the late 1970s. The official records are comprised of the group's agendas; minutes and reports; club regulations and job descriptions; and a donated materials list. It also includes several of the the organizations's various publications. There are some written histories of the club, specifically the Simi Valley YMCA, and several photographs and member lists.
