Abstract David W. Hill, born in 1923 in Blanchard, North Dakota, moved to Ventura in 1932 with him family as a child. After graduating from high school, he joined the Army during World War II. He graduated from Northridge College, and in the 1970s he retired from Pt. Mugu Naval Missile Center as head of Editing and Publishing.
