Ventura County has been home to numerous clubs and organizations throughout its history. This collection consists of archival materials from 1881 to 1998. Assembled by the repository, this collection contains important papers, including minutes and reports; membership directories and yearbooks; event programs; newsletters; news clippings; and a few photographs from various groups and clubs throughout Ventura County.

Collection of glass plate negatives

Abstract

This collection consists of glass plate negatives donated by Bert Seymour and photographer David W. Hill. Both donations include images captured by local photographers John C. Brewster and Waldo Henry Dingman, Sr. The collection is composed entirely of glass plate negatives, mostly gelatin glass negatives, and some photographic prints. The images are of various Ventura County locations, historic sites, persons, and events, such as parades and community celebrations.

Abstract Charles John Feraud was the son of Julius Feraud, who immigrated from France and operated the Feraud General Merchandise Store and Feraud Bakery in what is now known as the 1903 Building.
